For the first time as part of @melbfashionfestival_a , a series of Regional Festivals has been launched, beginning with Geelong Fashion Fortnight. As part of this exciting initiative, Mr Brown’s Menswear presented “Brushstroke to Bespoke,” an immersive evening celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and culture. The event invited guests to explore the artistic journey of two Indigenous painters, Joshua James and Peter Farmer, tracing their work from original canvas paintings through to beautifully crafted custom suits.
Joined by Geelong Mayor and Fashion Festival Board Member Todd Anthony, the evening was brought to life by hosts Cameron Ling and Cameron Brown, who shared engaging and insightful stories behind the collaboration. Guests enjoyed a warm and vibrant atmosphere, complemented by Box Office refreshments served throughout the night. The event was a unique fusion of art, fashion, and storytelling, showcasing the power of collaboration and local talent.
